Meanwhile Sports grades are fitted with the Sports Appearance Package (SAP) to satisfy those with even greater demands for sportiness and assertiveness.

The SAP offers unique styling for parts at the front of the body, side sills, rear bumper and rear spoiler, as well as rear combination lamps that differentiate themselves with a clear look.

Engine

The all-new Mazda6 offers a choice of three petrol engines. When combined with lower vehicle weight and aerodynamic improvements ,each engine offers significant fuel economy and CO₂ improvements over the previous Mazda6.

The MZR 2.5 engine was developed by increasing the bore and stroke of the 2.3-litre engine of the previous Mazda6. And it remains just as compact, light and quiet. The engine’s maximum output is 170 PS, delivering strong running performance and a sporty spirit.

The MZR 2.0 is a four-cylinder petrol engine with a Sequential Valve Timing (S-VT) system, a Variable Induction System (VIS), an electronically controlled throttle and dual silencers.

The MZR 1.8 four-cylinder petrol engine delivers high torque at all speeds. It also offers superior environmental performance thanks partly to an electronically controlled throttle and a single silencer.

Chassis

More control – it would make anyone’s life easier.

In the all-new Mazda6, the superior braking performance enables you to enjoy driving in a more relaxed frame of mind. The Antilock Braking System (ABS), and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) come as standard features.

And it is not only about a high level of functionality and safety either. Even the simple action of applying the brakes is now an enjoyable thing to do.

It is largely thanks to the high-mount double-wishbone front suspension, which has been newly refined meaning fewer body vibrations and so, quite simply, a better drive.
