The instrument panel is designed with that perfect balance between design and function that today's Compact MAV users have come to expect. Simple and distinctive, the wraparound design creates a natural-feeling distance that offers clear driving sightlines. The elevated centre stack, with its refined silver-coloured aluminium-like finish, is handily situated for the shift lever, audio and climate controls. Interior lines flow uninterrupted and the meters' and switches' yellow-green backlighting all combine to enhance the cool, clean look throughout the driving area.

Trim packages

The Mazda5 has three interior trims available, according to the model you choose. All of them perfectly complement the sweeping silver-coloured instrument panel and switch bezels on the doors.

Khaki trim package is offered on TS derivatives. The light-grey keynote colour helps to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The soft touch fabric and other trim materials have a pattern that is forgiving to the dirt that kids so often seem to collect picked up.

Our sports trims are dynamic, contemporary and refined. TS2 derivatives have a Black/Blue package, while the keynote colour on Sport and Sport Nav models is Black. With a slightly stiffer seat fabric throughout, these trims befit the models designed for serious activity.

Exterior

There's a real emphasis on style with the Mazda5. Thoughtfully placed lines draw attention to design attributes, such as the front end's stylish appearance. While contoured side sills, silver coloured reflectors in the headlamps and red rear lamp lenses all contribute to a more refined, cultured feel.

Sports styling pack
Here we stress family movement - with an active edge. In this Mazda5 it seems as if the centre of gravity is lower, with more visual volume and a wider-looking stance. Wheels

Take a look at the range available. The range includes 15" steel wheels for the TS model, 16" alloy wheels for the TS² model and, exclusive to the Sport grade, 17" alloy wheels.

In the 17" alloy wheels there's a flared rim that adds to the car's solid and taut effect. The 10-spoke design, in the 16" wheel, sees one set of five-spokes superimposed on to another, creating a pleasing sense of luxury.
